Accessibility Statement

Dissonant Capital is committed to making dissonantcapital.com accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities.

Conformance Standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

Measures We Have Taken

As part of this pass, we reviewed the Site's markup and made the following changes:

  • Added a proper HTML document structure (<!DOCTYPE html> and <html lang="en">) to every page so assistive technology correctly identifies the page language.
  • Confirmed a keyboard-focusable “Skip to main content” link on every page, jumping to a labeled <main> landmark.
  • Confirmed a single, descriptive <h1> and a logical heading order on every page.
  • Confirmed every form field has a visible, programmatically associated <label>.
  • Confirmed visible focus indicators on links, buttons, and form fields.
  • Confirmed descriptive alt text on every meaningful image, and marked decorative icons as aria-hidden.
  • Confirmed the mobile navigation toggle exposes aria-expanded and aria-controls.
  • Added rel="noopener noreferrer" to links that open in a new tab.

Ongoing Efforts

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We are in the process of continuing to review the Site against WCAG 2.1 AA as it evolves, including any embedded third-party content (such as our Calendly scheduling widget), which may fall outside our direct control.
