The most recent metro population figure we could verify is the July 2024 vintage. We have not seen a confirmed July 2025 update and are not going to state one. That caveat matters, because the gap between 3.0% population growth and 1.3% job growth is wide enough to watch closely.
Data center rezoning has been contested across Utah County through 2026, with proposals both approved and rejected. Land use decisions like these shape where development can go and what it costs.
